Bread Care & FAQs
What is the best way to store the loaves?
On the counter in its bag or in a bread box. Refrigeration is not recommended as it can dry your loaf out faster. If you have a cover for it, store it with the cut side down.
How long do the loaves stay fresh?
With proper care, around 3-4 days on the counter.
What if I can't eat the whole loaf before it goes stale?
Cut the loaf in half, wrap half in parchment paper, place in airtight freezer bag and freeze until you are ready to eat!
How do I thaw the frozen loaves?
Just take the whole bag containing half a loaf and let it thaw on the counter :)
Can I bring my loaf back to life if it gets too hard?
Yes! You can run it under water to get it wet, and bake in a 400 degree oven for around 10 minutes.
